Annual Meeting Postponed to 2/26/17

 

Dear Friends in Christ,

It seems that winter is finally upon us! 

With a new storm predicted for Sunday and Monday, your wardens and I have had our eyes glued to the various weather reports.  We have come to the conclusion that, although the forecast seems to be OK in the early morning on Sunday, the late morning forecast is slated to be quite messy with freezing rain, sleet, and considerable snow.

Accordingly, here is our plan for tomorrow:

 

• ·       We will still plan to worship together at 10:00 tomorrow morning before the weather gets bad.  As always, use your best judgment about whether it is safe for you to come.

• ·        However, because the foul weather could very likely make it problematic (and unsafe) for many of you to stay after our worship service for the Annual Meeting, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Annual Meeting until after worship on Sunday, February 26^th.   We want to make sure that you all have the opportunity to attend the meeting without asking you to endure dangerous driving conditions.
